4th of July at Lake Hartwell

We were able to enjoy a wonderful long weekend at the lake with my parents over the fourth. It was filled with sunshine, great food, and lots of time on the lake and the "party boat" (right dad!) Eric was able to relax (pictured here) and the kids had a great time in the water with their grandparents! We are so blessed to be close enough to visit regularly!

Jon, my father-in-law, bought these for Martin when we were at the beach. Naturally, he didn't want to wear them then. He came out of his room one day with them on and now loves to wear them!!

Around the house

We have been enjoying life these days. God has blessed us with two healthy children who we are watching grow up so quickly! Grace is crawling now. She is a little behind her brother who was crawling at 7, but we attribute it to her laid back personality and her sweet big brother bringing everything to her so she doesn't have to move. My parents have been by a few times to spend an evening with us, which is always nice!

Just a quick note--my sister Beth had her 5th child, a little boy named Alex Joseph, this past Monday, just days after moving to their new house. He is beautiful and I hope to have pictures soon!
