Around the house

We have been enjoying life these days. God has blessed us with two healthy children who we are watching grow up so quickly! Grace is crawling now. She is a little behind her brother who was crawling at 7, but we attribute it to her laid back personality and her sweet big brother bringing everything to her so she doesn't have to move. My parents have been by a few times to spend an evening with us, which is always nice!

Congrats Johnstons...

Just a quick note--my sister Beth had her 5th child, a little boy named Alex Joseph, this past Monday, just days after moving to their new house. He is beautiful and I hope to have pictures soon!

Just another day at the beach...

We had a great time last week in Panama City with Jon and Sue. The kids loved the pool, beach, and ocean. Grace ate the sand, Martin floated on the waves, Eric and I tried to relax a bit. All in all it was a wonderful vacation. The kids got to spend an extra 4 days at the beach without Eric and I though as we had to get back to work.

We have been having a lot of fun in our new house, though VERY busy. Martin helped me bake brownies for the first time, which he became more excited about when he got to lick the spoon! Grace is up on all fours, though no forward crawling yet. We are waiting for it any day now.

A Day out with Thomas

We enjoyed a trip to see Thomas the Train in TN with Beth, her family, Joey, and Crystal. Despite the rainy weather, it was a fun filled morning! Martin still talks about seeing Thomas!

Dinnertime fun!

Grace is getting larger, thanks to the wide variety of foods she is now eating (and playing with!!). She is sleeping through the night (thank you Lord!!) now and has started rolling over!

HAPPY EASTER!!

WE had a wonderful Easter in our new house. Jon and Sue visited from Michigan, and the weather was beautiful! Martin enjoyed finding eggs (and eating jelly beans out of them!) in the backyard. We also were able to attend the Eater carnival at our neighborhood clubhouse and spend some time outdoors relaxing. Attending mass at St. John Neumann was very different, having been at St. Olivers for the last 41/2 years, but it brought back lots of memories! Martin loved coloring eggs, naming the colors and Ooohing at the eggs when they were pulled from the cups.
