Grace turns 1 (party number 3!) and Labor Day fun

We celebrated Grace's official first birthday on Sept 4th with Tim and Lauren. Tim and Lauren left for Chicago the following day, finally living in the same state after 3 months of being apart. Martin talks about Aunt Lauren and asks where she is. We miss her but are glad she is able to be with Tim and living with her aunt and uncle in Chicago. We enjoyed beautiful weather over Labor Day weekend with a trip to the park with the kids.

1st birthday (part 2)

We celebrated Grace's first birthday a second time the last weekend in August with a short trip to the lake to see my parent and Chris and Samantha who were also in town.

Fun with Nana, Papa, and Great Grandma

We had a wonderful visit at the end of August with my in-laws and Eric's grandma. It is hard to believe she is almost 90!! It means so much to us to get to spend time with her! We enjoyed celebrating both Grace's 1st birthday (early) and Jon's birthday.

More fun...

We are enjoying the kids growing up so much!! Grace has moved onto tablet food now and loves spaghetti! Martin loves to help mommy bake and tells me "That tastes good" while making anything! We had a nice visit from the newlyweds shortly after getting back from their honeymoon in Hawaii.

Spending time with family at the lake...

We spent Sunday after the wedding at Lake Hartwell with some family. Sue, my mother-in-law was able to come down for the week to watch the kids for us, and spent some time tubing with Martin.

Joey gets married!

We were blessed to add another member to the family over the weekend of July 18th. Joey married his long time girlfriend Crystal. She is wonderful, and we are so excited about having her as part of the family! The reception was SOOO much! Martin learned some new dance moves, and we were able to enjoy time with friends and family.

Grace is growing up

Our little angel is growing up so fast!! She is standing, trying to walk, and very talkative!! Martin was nice enough to show her how to climb the stairs yesterday, which is keeping Eric and I on our toes!!
